After being closed for five years for the refurbishment of the Musée de l’Homme in the Palais de Chaillot, the Café de l’Homme has finally reopened its doors and welcomes us again under its spectacular high ceiling and in a new setting and a new atmosphere combining wood and marble, the atmosphere of a beautiful Art Deco brasserie conceived by Coco Coupérie-Eiffel and Christophe Bonnat, and designed by the architects Gilles & Boissier.
The menu offers a profusion of standards of French cuisine but also creative and highly successful dishes accompanied by superb wines from Bordeaux in double magnums, served by the glass or elegant carafes. The clientele is chic, Parisian and trendy and has already taken over the place, well arranged between the very elegant “moucharabiehs” of openwork marble.
In fine weather, the Café de l’Homme will offer the most spectacular terrace of Paris and we are eager to discover it …
